Performance-wise, how does this dual intake airbox compare to getting a pod?

I would imagine that you could connect a pod up to where the stock intake is connected on the stock airbox, but would that not mean you are filtering the intake air twice?

Or maybe if you got a pod you would take out the filter in question and just pass the pre-filtered air through?

pod = lag... after a gear change expect less punch but i rekon maybe more top end... either way if i was smart i would of went YR-box

did you have a pod before you fitted the FMIC?

because i havent noticed lag with my pod (unless its very hot because mine is in the stock position)

yep i had pod way before intercooler... its more of after u shift a gear it doesnt have the response that the airbox gave... i drove many different colts and ones with panel filter just feel smoother n more punch on shifts...

however my personal opinion is YR-Adv if u want power mod or K&N/blitz panel for noise n slight increase in power... i find pod is just noise and will lose power unless boxed
