  • 225/45/16 Yokohama Advan Neova Ad07 BRAND NEW MADE IN JAPAN NOW SOLD OUT

Hey guys, its been a while since i've posted here, however im working through all the forums again now that most of our reno's are complete and we have half a desk to sit on again!

Right now we have the Yokohama advan Neova AD07 in stock in 225 45 16.

Now obviously these are wider than the stock 205/45/16, but there should not be a problem with fitment.

And for the price you cant really fault them, only $110 ea right now plus fitting and balancing or delivery Australia wide!

    BRAND NEW MADE IN JAPAN

    2008 PRODUCTION

so is there any negatives to having a 225 tyre on instead of the 205? If not, then I will be ordering some!!!

Just bought a set for my x7 ssr rims. So, hopefully it wouldn't scrape the inner guard

If these will fit our stock rims I'll be all over them... Need to confirm they will fit though...

If they don't, how much for the 215 and do you have any in stock?

no, not going to drive my rcolt for such long distance without fixing my brake caliper first (which should be fixed by this month)

I recall having a 5.0 SL commy on 14x6 steel rims in 1989. Was running 225/60 eagers, seemed to fit ok with a little side wall bulge of course. The 225/45's may be a tight fit on the standard colt rim, and considering the square shoulder on the yokis that maximises its width and hence grip, I dont think that rounding of the corners by pulling the sidewalls in would be a good thing for grip.

Can someone in Sydney guinea pig this for us? If they fit stock rims I'd predict Ali will off-load a hundred in a heart beat...

As an example, according Toyo's fitment chart, 225 tyres should only be fitted on wheels ranging from 7.5" wide to 9" wide, sounds like no go for a 6.5" rim netherlone a 7" rim. Might be worth a try though for the money, might not be ideal, but cheap all the same.
