With decades of experience in running specialist car shows, AEM is excited to announce the first JAPANESE CAR DAY to be held in WA - featuring car displays and a thrilling motor sport event. We're expecting a huge turnout of cars from classic to highly customised - and big visitor crowds on Sunday, October 16 at the Speed Dome, Eddie Barron Drive, Midvale.

The Exhibition and Superkhana are open to all Japanese cars of any age with free display space for clubs and individual exhibitors. Clubs just need to nominate how many cars they want space for. Display cars don't have to be show-car quality - all interesting Japanese cars are welcome. Booking form links below. Enquiries to info@classicrally.com.au

Visitors: The show will be open to the public between 10am and 3.30pm. Free parking on site. Cost is $15 for adults and $5 for children 14 and under. Food and drinks will be available at the venue. The address is Speed Dome, eastern end of Eddie Barron Drive, Midvale.

    SUPERKHANA
The competition driving short-course Superkhana will be run under AASA regulations and is open to all cars including classic, modern, modified and drift cars, with lots of award categories. Morning and afternoon sessions will be run. Entry fee just $45 per car. Cars will be scrutineered first for basic roadworthiness and safety. Drivers must have a AASA or CAMS competition license - we can issue 12-month AASA license for $50 on the day. 4 runs per car. Limited to 25 cars each session. CLICK HERE for full details and Entry Form.

Will Mitsiman have a Trade Display there? JamesPH? So many nicely modded colts in W.A, it would be a good platform to show what rcolts are about!

i dont think RPW get involved with this mob, so i would be leaning towards no RPW trade stand

i have emailed them to see how many spots left in the event, but yeh i'm planning on hitting the tarmac. ive done the event before and its not a very fast event, but its pretty good for a carpark rally. its also alot better on tyres and brakes than full track events.

attached is aerial pic of midvale speed dome, in case you arent familiar... the course is held on the eastern half of the dome, on the criterion circuit which you can see there... the show and shine would be around the northern / north western carparks.

Not the last time I went, but they put barriers in front of the trees...

Photos I took while wandering about... http://www.flickr.com/photos/albertr...th/6249194606/

The course they used wasn't as good as the usual superkhana course, was shorter due to the space for the concourse section... Glad I didn't enter. I'll wait for the next regular meet.
