  • Is is possible to convert a Colt Ralliart to AWD?

    Hi,

I fell in love with Colt Ralliart when the first time I saw one on the road - and it got RColt.com's sticker. :P

I'm planning on getting one and mod it. However, is it possible to convert a Colt Ralliart to AWD? I love my EVO's AWD and it's super useful and reliable on the hills... If it's possible, how much will I be looking at?

    Thank you!

Hey I'm from Adelaide also! There's a local facebook group for meetups https://www.facebook.com/groups/ralliartcolt/ if you're not already on it.

It's definitely possible, but would be very costly. In japan there's a Non-Turbo CVT 4WD Colt so you could use parts from that (such as the rear cradle) to create an AWD Rcolt. For the cost, it would be cheaper to just have an evo (or even an evo and an rcolt to suit your mood).

Decent tires go a long way in giving rcolt traction. Then there's LSD options.. I run semis but no LSD (yet) and grips pretty good.
