*Old old PB times will be left here where they are beaten by relevant owners, so that we can see what difference experience and new power mods make.

*Please note: rcolt.com does not advocate street racing. Only post info/results for legal tracks/events, any discussions that stray into the realm of illegal street racing will be deleted without notice, cheers..

Have cleaned up this thread and removed non-drag related posts:
Track results and discussions can be posted here: http://www.rcolt.com/showthread.php?t=2993

The Drag records will be maintained in the second post on this thread.

Macca and Blaze please let me know of any missing info for above info, cheers

ps. *Macca do you still have youre details for that 15.2 run, think you posted it somewhere though, but was not on this thread??? Also do you have the slip info for your first run in the Colt where you set a time of 15.4, be good to have that listed as it was the first ever RColt.com drag time ever mentioned on this site (I think?) and would have been your first PB to be listed above

Are those "ET"s your quartermile times?

you guys, get a lot of info when you drive that...

In belgium we only get our reaction time, 200m time, and the final result, the 400m time (quartermile)

My best 400m time last year was 14,02 sec, but plan to beat it this year, hoping op a excellent 13,7 or something

yep ET is 1/4 mile time

we dont have a large amount of tracks in australia, so when we have them, they are all world class strips.

like the one I drag on, is where they hold the aussie titles and top fuelers ect.

yeah thats pretty cool, that much info...

our dragstrips in belgium is one with good road, but only 200m or 1/8 mile.

and our 400m or quartermile is a former military airbase, where they do it on the landingstrip for planes. That is very bad road to race, the ground isnt that much grip and has little holes, and at some places plants coming through the tarmac

yeah since moving to adelaide i've instantly regretted it... zero proper drag strips here..

apparently there's some dodgey 1/8th mile track but what a waste of time that'd be

                  You got a 14.02
                  What mods do you have?

Its very hard to get traction in first.

And i got that 14,02 with wet semi-slicks. They poor water at the start, so you could burnout your tires till they were warm.

Problem is that the european colt cant disconnect traction control, so my starts were bad

                    i think i will drive a 13,7 when i have dry tires.

                    My mods:

                    muyol intercooler
                    dastek unichip
                    BMC panel filter
                    bonalume clutch + flywheel
                    HKS backbox
                    lowering springs
5zigen lightweight rims + lightweight nuts
                    toyo R888 semi slick

power output 2 years ago: 224 hp and 315 NM, but i drove that time on my street program: 215 hp and 302 NM

i have to say, my car is very light, i took out every seat except the drivers seat. Floormats were also gone, spare tire gone, and the plastic panels in the boot were also gone...

last year in belgium i went to belgian race wars 2009. Thats the championship in belgium of dragracing. it was raced on 300m track

I was in the below 1600cc class, and i won it with ease, my time was a second better then the 2nd one in my categorie.

My time was better then a lot of scoobies, M3's, m5's, 200sx. Ok, it was 300 m, if it was on a 1/4 mile, i would probably have lost against them, but still it was a very nice result for a 1500cc

My races against an opponent that i won, was a ford focus RS, lotus elise, golf 5 gti, nissan 350z.

I raced one evo 8 with complete exhaust and launch control, and i lost with something more then 1 car, he was very impressed by it...

if people think i'm talking bollocks, i can copy the link to the time table, so you can check it yourself what cars were slower then me xD

Great time, would definitely be the fastest yet. Just imagine what the colt would be capable of with ECU mods plus LSD!

This time using the standard wheels?
