  • Track day trophy time

Attached are a couple of pics of my home made trophy for my interoffice track day comp.
We get together and compete to best our personal bests. To date we've attended EC and Wakefield Park. Off to Winton next month.http://img.tapatalk.com/65770f30-12a2-ad68.jpghttp://img.tapatalk.com/65770f30-12b4-50f7.jpg

    When are you at Winton?
With your mods you should easily be sub 1:50. With a stock colt I managed a 1:56 and I know I could push harder now.

Love to see how you go.

So your conrod was only bent and not broken, and that still managed to smash the block?

Not quite. Conrod from cylinder 1 was completely destroyed as per the photos on my thread. The conrod from cylinder 4, used for the trophy, just bent. That bend unfortunately then ruptured the cylinder and let the coolant in. Not sure if the destruction of cylinder 1 or 4 happened first.

just reading this makes me think I wont be pushing my colt too hard in october at winton. But then my cars close to standard power so hoping that lowers the chance of any issues.

Redrocket, whats your colt's pb at winton? =)
