  • Essential gauges

So I've been thinking about what gauges I'm going to install for my colt.. Besides a boost gauge, what do you guys consider to be "essential gauges" for our little beast (or turbo cars in general)?

At the moment I'm thinking wideband AFR, oil temp and oil pressure..

What 3 gauges would you install (or have installed) and why?

afr if you're going to, or are already modding to the point of needing to keep an eye on the ratios...

All other gauges are a wank unless you track your car...

Eh... None? Gauges only serve a purpose if you fuck with shit

As I do, or did, track my car I would recommend oil temp and oil pressure.

Thanks for the input guys, I think I'll leave it be for now. I'll get a wideband AFR at a later stage when I start modding

Unless you are tuning the car yourself you don't need a wideband, put the $300 towards a remap

Or if you let macca get his grubby little hands on it... I wonder if he's flashed a car that did have a wide band

I simply run the optional Ralliart Defi gauges in a Ralliart dash mounted pod or hood.
oil pressure, oil temp and boost.

exhaust temp would be BY FAR the most important

                        Alba, why is that?
Got no issues with sphincter pressure though
