  • Dorman 47137 Windscreen Washer Kit

Been meaning to replace the stock wiper spray (dual stream) to a dispersed spray for a while.

I did look at other makes for inspiration as I am unaware of any Mitsubishi models that offered the spray.

Very simple with the Dorman 47137 kit.

    1. Open bonnet
    2. Unplug washer piping on L+R nozzles.
    3. Shine a torch into the recesses to see where the clips on the nozzles are
    4. Using a long nose plier and a flat tip screwdriver, press against the plastic clip on the nozzle and lever upwards
    5. Press the other side of the nozzle to slowly wedge out the part.
    6. Remove the nozzle and rubber gasket
    7. Carefully clean the surrounding area of bonnet with damp towel or your regular car care cleaning products.
    8. Place the Dorman nozzle along with it's own rubber gasket onto the bonnet and position so the gasket covers the hole. Don't bother trying the OEM gasket it won't work.
    9. Use Long nose plier to screw in the retainer plug. Hand tighten until you cannot swivel the nozzle on the bonnet.
    10. Reconnect washer piping on both nozzles.
    11. Power ON, test the spray, adjust nozzle to your liking (up, down, left right)

Will post pics once I get the photos to fit the upload quota.
