  • PlastiDip parts

Managed to get a few cans of this and toyed with some ideas. Dipped the silver inserts by the stereo and air vents, which almost match the matte dash. This greatly reduced reflectivity of these parts inside the window glass, and does not give off an odour like other paints when dried. Good thing about the dip is if you're not happy with the finish, just rip it off and spray again

I'd do the whole friggen dash. I hate the reflective glare that comes off mine. Btw what's the green strip below the ac controls?

Haha yeah, the dash is quite refective. The green strip is doublesided tape to protect the dash, working on a custom 3 gauge holder for that part of the dash - might abandon that idea, have something else in mind

might be good to redo it with a orange or green color Black and black looks more like a downgrade imo (sorry)

Yep, you can buy plastidip and mix your own colours, so fluoro orange, lime green, hot pink, skies the limit! You could even sprinkle in some glitter if you want, for some added pizazz :P

I'll stick with the black suit.

Tried smoke the headlight protectors (I know it's illegal for road use, it was only to be used on track days). Not quite what I had in mind, probably better to black it out completely.

See now that looks rather nice.

More so on the silver car.
