    • When gear is in neutral, with the clutch pedal out, i can hear what sounds like slightly loose or gritty bearings spinning fast (excuse my omg noobness....its the best way i can describe the sound). But when i clutch in, the sound goes away. Its not very loud, but you can definately hear it especially in an enclosed area like inside the garage.

      Normal? ...or trouble arising?

      • mine has had that for 2 years

        not normal but common

        • Mine also does it, most RColt's do.
I believe it had been narrowed down to be clutch related or gearbox race bearing.
I have found I can minimise the sound it makes by very slowly releasing the clutch pedal rather than stepping off as you would normally.

Mine has it too but I'm hoping when I change the clutch it disappears...

                    • Rumor has it from a couple years ago that Whiteline and Nolathane were same shit different stink...
Either that or it was Whiteline and SuperPro?

Having said that, just noticed Nolathane do this unit: http://www.nolathane.com.au/product_...t_number=45657
I have had an annoying issue that the steering wheel is always turning right side down to get the car to drive straight... If the wheel is held straight, the car veers to the left.

EDIT: I'd be inclined to think they are same/same giving that the two site's layout are very similar... and they images etc on each are the same... and they appear to use the same conventions on part naming etc...

                      • Nolathane and Whiteline are owned by the same parent company.

Nolathane is generally classed as the cheaper OEM replacement gear, and whiteline the performance line.

                        • Anyone know the price difference between the whiteline and nolathane bushes?

I contacted this seller and he also sells the non-H/D exedy clutch kit for $500 delivered. Apparently the H/D kit doesn't come with new forks, whereas the regular one does....
