Received my Version–R on 20 Sep 06 and spent few months to soup it up. Suppose to maintain both the exterior, interior and engine bay clean before I post the pics but its damn hard to keep my ride spark and clean here in tropical Singapore.
Will post the 4 views again when I got the time to wash and wax my ride.

oh dear oh dear! A modded RColt finally. But how come you got your RColt in Sept when everyone else has to wait till Jan or Feb??
By the way, does the ralliart suction piping actually helps?? And how much does it cost for your whole intake system?? And i was told, if one put on a LSD, it will cancel out all the ASC + TSC ya?? Is that true?

Mine was parallel imported by the local HKS distributor. Over here in Singapore, only the manual trans Version-R are parallel imported. So far only 5 manual Version-R running on Singapore roads.
Those Singapore brothers waiting for the delivery in Jan - Feb period bought their Version-R from the local authorised agent. The authorised agent only allows to import in the CVT Version-R.
The RALLIART pipings do help alot man. You can hear the power suction sound inside/outside the car. Paid SGD 1.3k for both the RALLIART pipings and another SGD 400+ for the CARBING Heat Insulator and HKS mushroom.
Regarding the LSD, dun think so. The Jap engineers are simple too good for their own Jap cars. To install the LSD inside the gearbox, the stock open differential (also inside the gearbox) has to be removed and replace with the LSD. All mechanical works, plug & play. Dun see it will affect anything on our ASC.

O yes, one last item from the RALLIART. The Titanium Sports Pedal Kit. Our stock alloy pedals are slippery when your shoes are wet.
The rest of the RALLIART items can wait.
Dun like the RALLIART Rear Wing Spoiler, prefer a GT wing instead. Still waiting for it.
As for the RALLIART full bucket seat (made by RECARO), I would prefer the carbon fibre seat from Bride.
Anyway, I'm broke and dried up after my rims and tires.

I thort the piping would have cost less I just did the currency conversion it works out to be $1700 SGD = $1,086.91 AUD then we would have to add the cost of postage and handling.
A tip for the those who are importing car parts from my experiance if the parts are or APPEAR second hand no import duties are payable if New Import Duty applies.

If you go to http://www.ralliart.co.jp/06news/06023_coltv_pipe.html and do the conversion from Yen to AUD you can get the pipes for $955.53 that is over a $100 AUD saving

But you have to take into account the fee chargable by any importer to bring it in. Also, Ralliart Jap isn't doing any postage and handling service. And going through ralliart australia is a big rip off. So, unless you have someone that's going to japan and bring it in by making it look 2nd handed, you will have little chance of getting those at that prices.

My stock muffler won't fit your CPT coz the pipe abit shorter. So the muffler tip will ended up hiding behind your bumper.

:)thks for the heads up,have intention to change the bumper to something similar to the colt so the muffler would point straight out ,not down like wat it is now .wonder that would be feasible???pls advise...

Kakimotor has a straight thru muffler for CPT. There's a group buy going on at the Singapore dc Colt club. The muffler will be pointing straight instead of down. Why not check it out there.

Hi, nice ride you have. Where did you go to get those parts? I am looking for the ralliart engine hood fin, couldn't seem to find it anywhere.
What is the performance gain from the ralliart tubing?
I am thinking of changing the air filter to an Apexi one but I was told that the intake will be at the rear of the engine, which defeats the purpose of changing the intake.
Also, where did you get the HKS EVC? Any exhaust to recommend?
I am driving the ralliart colt plus turbo

Quick question, what's the different between the Ralliart Colt Plus Turbo and Ralliart Colt Version R? I noticed that CPT has the same evo bonnet, front bumper, but its missing the side skirts, plastic side skirts/widebody bits and maybe rear bumper??

The above CPT is not the standard model. Its a done up with aftermarkets accessories. The normal CPT does look pretty ordinary.

Bodykit wise, i have not added any to my CPT. I got all these stock from C&C. The difference between C&C CPT n CVR is the body kit. CVR comes with side wheel arch. I believe the older version of CPT will look just like a normal CP.

I have a question about your cold air feed... What's the diametre of that one, and HOW(!) did you manage to get it to the bumper place under the foglight at the battery side?
I tore apart many things like the whole foglight, mesh and stuff. I saw the small intercooler(?) right under the foglight with a plastic shield around to get concentrated air. How do you remove that plastic tunnel? Could you please post pics of how you did get it trough the headlight and the battery space, and then how you did under the foglight to get it to the mesh?
I know you told me that before about the AFM pipe, but I forgot about it, so where did you bought it? :D

One thing why have u left the standard BOV on?
hendo
10-01-2008, 09:25 PM
STD BOV no performance gain i would say? a mate of mine that was a rally driver with a 7 and a street 7 runs like 20psi with the STD BOV leaks a little but not worth spending the money of a after marcket BOV. also a guy called steve knight (evo guru) you could call him builds like 330kw evos and stuff still runs the plastic 1 on his race car
