Guys,
Just letting you know, if you need any genuine replacement parts for your colt, i am commending Chadstone Mitsubishi. The parts department there is top notch. Even though they are not onboard as a sponsor (*yet - currently in final stages of negotiations) ,McCoy put me on to the parts department there as i have damaged my front left spotlight surround and needed a replacement. I called afew local dealers and some of their prices were very very different. Cheapest quote i got was 53.85 without gst, Chris from the Chadstone service department did it for 48.93 INCLUDING gst, and is sending it to me express mail for 9 bucks. essentially the same price, but its all getting sent to me. Super Helpful. So if you are after the BEST price for a replacement ralliart part call Chris ( and only chris ) 03 9569 0941, and mention you were recommended from the rcolt.com site.
Cheers
Steve

i think i paid 150-160 for mine. Yep same dealership as mcCoy but he is in sales not parts. Best bet for prices is to call chirs, as mcCoy like i said doesnt deal with the parts side, and for him to get you prices would make this a vendor sale, which isnt permitted until they come on board as a sponsor. I am recommending them, and at the moment, they are giving good prices to rcolt.com members as a show of faith for their intentions.

the parts dealer at Nundah mitsubishi has one in now....its the one I ordered AGES ago that they promised to have for me within a week, but after a lot more weeks I just gave up on ever seeing it so I have ordered a K&N pod kit instead.
So the ralliart filter is now sitting in their parts shop.
so if anyone is looking for one, they do now have one in stock.

Speedracer,
Is that Nundah in Brisbane? I was going to order one from McCoy's dealer but if they have one up here I can save on the postage. How much did they quote you?

I picked up the filter from Nundah this afternoon. The box looks like it was sat on by a Sumo Wrestler. It was about $20 more than McCoy can get it for.

Sumo wrestler you say? Makes sense, after all if you remember the old Mitsubishi advert ~ Not so squeezy!
(only the older generation will remember that ad campaign)

mcCoy cant call aus post for you.
it would be under one kilo, and if you hit the link on mcCoy's work website, im sure you would find the post code.

If it fits into a small express post bag, it would be $9 ;)

best bet, would be to call chirs, as he is the parts dept, getting mcCoy to call chris without ur postcode etc etc.
saves double handling thats all, not having a go ab.

a noob question here... is the Ralliart panel filter a re-usable one that has a cleaning kit, or is it just a better disposable one?

Its a non re-useable one. Purposed way of cleaning, is to use a high pressure air blast to blow any dirt out, which might extend the use of the filter. Otherwise, its a 1 off item.
