View Full Version : Singaporean Colt Version R Site
Good day, interesting site you done up.
Will do well to pool the resources of two countries CVR lovers. Pop by our colt site at http://dc3.ipbhost.com. Seems like we are little ahead of you guys in terms of aftermarket upgrades so far.
Personally, i booked my silver cvt, arriving feb. Unlike yours, our local distributor brings in CVT only. Well some of us got their manual through parallel importers.
One big different is we dont get the recaro seat as standard, just cheaper ralliart seat. Main reason is our very high tax structure on cars.

Welcome welcome. I never know Singapore has CVR already? I'm always under the impression that it has the Colt Plus (the original Colt Turbo and not the Version R) You see, i'm actually also from Singapore.......but been here for over 10 yrs, so kinda half sporean half aussie now :P Been quite a while since i last went back......
Feel free to get the members over there to drop by our site here. I will visit there as i speak.

Yo, AK47. I got a manual version through the Parallel importer. Expected time of arrival for the car will b sometime in Feb. Maybe we can meet up after that. :)

Hi, just wanna reply to your question in the newbie forum. I've not gone for bidding yet, since the car is still 2 months away, but as soon as I do I'll let you guys know on the price again.
btw, I've made myself a member at the dc3 site, will post more often there now, but I'll still check in here every now and then;)

U mean u've already start considering the kind of rims to get? wow... hahaha... Personally, i kinda like the stock rim. Might seem abit too heavy, but definitely looks like one of those they used to have on the lancer mivecs.

I think guys that get such cars tends to do it up a little, typical.
A nice set of aftermarket performance wheels can made yr car look different and perform better, why not? I find the CVR steering quite heavy when i test drove, perhaps getting lightweight wheels will improve that... or maybe its the AD07 superb grip that is causing that...hm..I am not sure if its a fact though, so dont quote me :o
As for spoiler, its just vanity at work :D
