Check out this site. It's a Japanese tuning company which sells some really nice parts for the Colt. It's a bit hard to navigate because it's all in Japanese but persevere and you will find some nice stuff. www.poweraxel.com
They have Ralliart intercooler pipes which are anodized red and they look superb http://www.ralliart.co.jp/06news/06023_coltv_pipe.html

hate to tell you this but there 500 a pipe + importing... and your total gain a little bit of turbo response gain. nothing an exhaust shop wouldnt do both pipes for 150-250 in what ever colour you want

Actually, in case you guys are not aware, our RColt's ecu is rather sensative. People in euro (in particular lecheir & toker on this site) has tried to change the intake system (pod filter) and has caused them alot of grief. Hence, although the ralliart parts are overpriced, but at least they do work.
as far as pods go on them , know from the magna you need an oval pod this could be the same colt all to do with the flow through the MAS or what ever its called

the turbo setup on the colt wont be affected by changing a pipe from rubber to steel no matter what brand it is, aslong as it has all the same lengths and entry exit points.
changing the air filter to a pod will always cause some sort of issue in any car. it may just look like a filter but the airbox is quick a complicated design,
http://autospeed.drive.com.au/cms/A_107749/article.html
changing a length of pipe on its own is drastic! i am leaving my air filter till i see a proven kit (though i was tempted to go to a K&N appollo (mmmmmm tasty)
i do belive in paying for a brand when it comes to stuff that is generic, ie tyres, intercooler, turbo, but when it comes to exhaust pipes, ecu tuning etc etc...
your best bet is always your local with a dyno and a brain in his head. each car is always different (see dyno results) a mech with the right tools and knwolege will always get the you best result and most reliable product. custom to a car is a lot better then something generic that was probibly matched to one car and tested on a few, not all the possible production lines etc

Well, its money well spent :D
I believe all of you had seen how shiny or smooth my pipings are  Glad to tell you that its not only the outside, the inside too.
I believe most of you already knew that the rate of airflow will be affected when the surfaces it flowing are rough or going through uncessary bents.
Thats the reason why there're such things called port and polish on the throttle body, intake manifold and the cylinder head. To provide surfaces as smooth as possible for a better rate of airflow.
I do not know how your local exhaust workshop bent pipes. But here in Singapore, I haven't know of a exhaust workshop that do mandrel benting.
If pipe benting not done in the proper way, the inner diameter of the bent will become smaller compare to the rest of the pipe portion. The change in the inner diameter hinder airflow and causes turbulence. This applies to your exhaust too.
If you getting your local workshop to customise the pipings for you, check with them what material they'll be using and how they going to do the bents. Check the material yourself, I bet the inside surface will be as rough as your road surfaces.
Sure you can also get the workshop to do the pipings in whatever colours you want. But I bet you can't get anodised coloured pipe which what you paid for when you buying from RALLIART :D

And one last thing, dun bet on any dramatic increase in horsepower when you do mods, unless you doing the engine internal or the ECU.
So while waiting for stronger engine parts and ECU for our COLT, we can only slowly accumulate these 1 or 2 hp gains as we progress in our mod.

yeah in that case i would buy ralliart too. here any exaust shop worth 2c will do it ! for my wifes MR2 Turbo we bought a excelent mandrel bent exhaust system, stanless steel cannon end and a gov friendly pit exhaust for $600.
quality must be pritty low over there! over here i always test the system. a good one, if a drop of water is placed inside the tube it should roll around nice and straight. if it wobbles the surface is to harsh.
as for colouring, i was talking anodised not cheap ass paint. it sounds like you have really poor standards of metal work over there?

O yes, that's the reason why my exhaust manifold and downpipe (with the cat attached) are still stock.
The exhaust workshops here still has alot to catch up with, to match the standards of Japan.
To customise my exhuast manifold and downpipe here for around SGD 500 - 1k, I would rather save the money and wait for JDM direct bolt-on parts. You won't know what's developing out there on the horizon. Especially Tokyo Auto Saloon 2007 will be held in Jan 07. Hoping to see some great tuning houses using the Version-R as one of their demo car. HKS is my favorite :D

I believe Fujitsubo and Trust make cat-back systems for the Colt. The Fujitsubo is a Legalis R and the Trust is a Power Extreme II. I will find the links and put them up later.

Fujitsubo only has the muffler, not the catback. And not for COLT but COLT PLUS :(
TRUST also just the muffler, not the catback. I've that too but not using.
