Hey guys, great forum. I have just bought a manual Colt ES, I know it's not a Ralliart but I hope i'm welcome nonetheless. I plan on doing a few things to the car to make it look and go a bit better but nothing too extreme. Thanks for having me.

A Colt is still a Colt. Nothing wrong with these cars. Welcome to the forum. love to hear about your cars. Post some pics and let us know what you think.

Yea man. The Version-R is only a souped up version of the COLT.

But why you Australians called the Version-R as RColt?

The RALLIART COLT in JDM referring to the predessor of Version-R.

The RALLIART COLT in JDM referring to the predessor of Version-R.

I think you have already answered yourself. Colt Plus, Ralliart Colt, Ralliart Colt Version R is basically the same. Even Euro's CZT is basically the same thing. Also, australia never get the predessor, so we tend not to different it.

Might also be too long to always refer it as RColt Ver R or Ralliart Colt Version R. Can't really use things like RVR (Its the name of a mitsubishi van from the past) or CVR (sounds more like CVT auto transmission term)

You are correct.

The car has done 113 kms in total now :D

I have been running it on BP Ultimate fuel and it seems to perform very well. I am so surprised at how quick it is for such a small car. It kills my girlfriends new Hyundai Getz and leaves some big cars for dead. It really is a great car, it's hard to get used to after owning a few HSV's though. I would post some pics but it's nothing special to look at.
