Ok guy well the WORST happened today :'(

Got a flat tire, changed over to the cheese cutter and went to the closest tire shop to get a plug in it.

We inflated the tire and the inner sidewall was buldging out, a suspected big hit to the wheel would be the cause, snapping the belts, i was pissed cause i haven't hit and big bumps on the car let alone the rear right side.

a look over the tire found a nail in the tire, took the tire off the rim, and due to me not noticing i had a flat (god only knows how long i didn't notice, wasn't flat at the drags last night) the nail had been pushed to the side of the tire and wore a 1/2 in wide hole into the sidewall of the tire. (insert macca crying, and being pissed off)

due to the fact my tires are only 4700 kms old, i said i want another AD07. that store didn't deal with yoko's so off to blair tires, the guy looked funny at the tire and i told him to call yoko, they should hopefully have them.

One call later one tire is ordered for the colt at a cost of $235

i hope it turns up tomorrow, as i have work on sunday, and i am not driving on that bloody cheese cutter space saver.

but shit happens, am i the 1st colt to buy ONE new tire ;) LOL

And now we know there are "plenty" of our tires in stock at yokohama and they cost around $235

Some things suck being 1st at HAHA but DAMN

THEY ONLY HAD 4700KMS ON THEM!!!!!!!!!

:CRY::CRY::CRY::CRY::CRY::CRY::CRY::CRY::CRY::CRY: :CRY::CRY::CRY:

Consider yourself lucky - I did the same thing and my sidewall had a massive bubble / buldge in it but at the time no ADVAN's were in stock. So instead I ended up buying 2 brand new S Drive front tyres at $215 each, instead of buying one ADVAN at $235. I was pissed.

Dam Macca I know how you feel I had to buy one of a smashed Rcolt last year when I was fighting to have them imported. And for even worse news read my post read my post on OEM Petition post that I just posted a few miniutes ago. At least Yokahama have 150 of them in stock now I know that is not much consulation when you have to Falk out $235 and you have to drive around on the Pizza Cutter for a day or two.
