Hey guys, I know a few people have been waiting for me to get back home to get some flashes done.

As normal I offer a basic flash that was made by Matt on the dyno day.

This is designed for a stock or light modded car with or with out a grimspeed 3 port.

This flash has gone onto about 10 cars now, and they have been near bog stock or upto a full exhaust and FMIC.

As per normal this is a use at your own risk tune, Its safe on a stock car and I have not had one person with an issue as yet.

People have been getting around 100-110kw atw with it, and report its so much better to drive.

They supply the grimmspeed (only) 3 port and Ill install it, you can help too.

Changes are
Slight drop in AFR rations high and low
Small ignition timing changes no more than 3 units
Mivec Change
CEL Deletes
Lean spool off
Rear o2 sensor turned off (for full exhausts)
Throttle map changes
More boost around 15 to 18 psi is where I like to set it (this is road tuned EVERY car I have flashed has been different and reacted different to the boost settings)

The catch?

Use at your own risk, Mods can cause issues with boost if its not checked.
You have to come to wollongong when Im off work
Bring beer and shout me lunch ( I have a BBQ bring more than one car ill can do about two in a day with help, we can BBQ talk shit work on cars, Ask Blaze im sure he had fun with his mates here)

The awesome?
A flash
Cheap
Talking shit with me haha

Im not a tuner, I only edit boost to keep it in check, So I dont do dyno tunes or anything, I offer this to members as ALL rcolts should have a reflash, Even if its a stock car, it makes driveability so much better! slight improvement in fuel economy.

This is a proven flash, Basic but liked by all, If you really want to get deep and dirty with a flash I suggest an RPW flash from Tunehouse or a custom tune.

PM me if you want it.

Those who have it feel free to add your comments here.

I can tell you from experience, Macca helped smooth out my RPW stage 1 reflash, feels a lot better to drive now, any one who doesn't have a reflash should get one off Macca, you won't regret it ;)

Macca... How many beers and T-bones to help a brother install a front mount? :)

Also, any flash tweaks for guys like me with adaptronics?

Fmic fuck that, Andy and myself did his, it was a bitch haha plus I did my own, I dis like FMIC's lol

Nah not much that will help with an adapt at all, Generally they have CEL delete and the throttle map change. Not really worth a drive to the gong for 30min work, But if you at a meet one time could be done then.

Had it done today.

Changes the whole way the car drives.

So much more linear compared to stock, once boost kicks in it keeps pulling till redline

Could help you depending on what core and pipe work. Macca has a habit of measuring twice, cutting once and still fucking up Andy's front bar :). And a flash is worth the drive for you tony. Makes life a lot easier on us.

Was looking at a generic fmic off ebay [550x140x65] and pipework from rpw or runuts...

In what way does the flash help? Does it remove the need for an OBD Pro?

With pre fabbed pipes I could install it piss easy. As for removing obd pro I'm not sure. It changes the throttle response and removes the limit in first and second though. That's worth it alone IMO

Yeh, the flash is the easy part. As Oddone mentioned i measure twice cut once, and that core was massive :P
