Silver is an underrated colour, brings out the curves in the colt, also an easy colour to maintain. Looking good!
How have you found the Achllies ATR sports tyres, I've heard mixed reviews about them, but did seriously consider trying out their R compound Achilles 123 at one stage.

thanks buddy :)
My last car was black, so it was time for a change.
I haven't washed it for quite some time lol. Oops.
Got NT5000. Haven't tried them in the wet yet.
Got an engine light today though :(
pick up torque for the android phone if you have one, and a e bay OBD2 Bluetooth transmitter. plugs in under the dash to the obd2 port..
you can check your engine codes and a heap of other things and reset engine lights as well.

Elm 327 is the name of the bluetooth obd adaptor I think, I have one, it kicks ass with torque.

Ahh, cheaper than I thought it was going to be :)
I really need one before the weekend. Taking my drumkit on an hour drive. So with the extra weight I want to be safe.

So I just let my gf drive the colt......hit a pot hole doing 90km/hr.....I now have to buckled wheels that are 3 weeks old......
That's crap. Can you apply for compensation from the council or RTA?

That would be great if I could. I will have to look into it. I doubt I can though. :(
Probably be $300.

I had that happen with approx the same timing after buying wheels for my old car. Wrote in a letter of complaint and a quote for repair/replacement.
They pretty much wiped their hands of it in one go, saying something to the effect of they "try their hardest" to maintain road surfaces but at the same time cannot be held responsible for undue damage caused from operating a vehicle on public roads. For the $180 it cost to replace the rim, I really cbf at the time to nag about it.
At that speed Brad, I'd go over the underside/sussy with a fine tooth comb. If there is more than just wheel damage done, make them foot the bill for repair and get it fixed.
I've flat spotted one of my rims, and more recently one of the missus rims, hitting a pothole on an off ramp up the northern end of the F3, also doing about 90-100km/h at the time. I think there is a stuffed bush also under that corner too, it's never been the same since.
With the week/week and a half of rain we've had up here some of the road surfaces are nothing short of fucking appalling.
Their fix for it as always would be just to plug it until it happens again, rather than fix the whole section of road right, and once.

Hey Skyrex,
Yeah exactly my thoughts on what they would reply with. Bullshit though, we pay all these road taxes for maintained roads and then its not their fault if you drive your car into a hole!
I haven't had a good chance to look under the car yet, but I will today. I think I'm more embarrassed about driving around with noticeably damaged wheels lol.
The amount of potholes around from the rain is deplorable. I am pretty sure there was a car to our right also, so it was unavoidable as it was only the second time she has driven the car.
