Large police presence

Has anyone noticed an increase in police presence on the road over the last week since the two newsworthy street racing incidents?

I have seen them:

Thursday August 2nd - Marsden Road - Carlingford - 3pm
Thursday August 2nd - Epping Road - Marsfield - 4pm
Friday August 3rd - New Line Road - Cherrybrook - 5pm
Friday August 3rd - F3 Freeway - Kuringai - 5:30pm
Saturday August 4th - Old Northern Road - Castle Hill - 1pm

Has anyone noticed an increase in police presence on the road over the last week since the two newsworthy street racing incidents?

We're from the same LAC district. Yes, there is a definitive increased HWP presence on the road in response to the media and political heat.

Ironically, I was speaking to 2 HWP officers @ Thornleigh Ms at 0600 hours after a midnight tune/test drive. They are out there, but when due dilligence is applied, they won't come out to purposely pick a bone.

It should restore to "calm" as time goes by, the LAC in our district is severely under resourced and aren't covering all duties with the increased required HWP presence.

Be careful out there guys, regardless if it's from the local law enforcement or poor roadcraft drivers out there.
