This is looking at the possibility of myself flying over to South Australia and hiring a dyno for several days to tune some colts.

My idea is to come over on a wednesday, tune cars on the dyno on the thursday and friday, and then on the saturday spend some time on the road with those various vehicles for any fine tuning of boost curves (If necessary). Then fly back sunday.

To make this possible, we would need to cover the air freights there and back, dyno time etc so as an estimation only, I woudl imagine that the costing would be around $400.00 per vehicle to do a full tune plus parts, or around the $200.00 bracket for a quick tune and a couple of dyno runs only.

I am only guessing on the pricing so once we get a better idea of numbers, then we can finalise pricing.

To make this possible, we would need at least 10 people to be involved at a guess.

At this stage its an expression of interest for South Australian people but its an option for those wanting to get something done on there colts.

Around that mark i would be happy to be involved for a full tune. I'm in Bendigo, Vic but the temptation of getting the colt tuned and a few days in Adelaide would get me over there.

Unless something comes of this Melbourne EOI for agents*

I'd be up for it, just thinking we might struggle for numbers though when compared with the NSW guys. I'd have to have get it all done in one day though due to my work commitments though, even if I got a basic tune as is to allow a few future mods - already have a tactrix 3-port solenoid.

Maybe. I'm not after a dyno-queen tune, I want low-mid range torque.
Cars a daily and I don't want ongoing issues that need to be 'customised'.

I'm in for some fine tuning. Hopefully it will be better when ECU comes back.

I know a couple of lads with ralliart lancers that are looking into a flash, have you got a tune for these Dave? It might boost numbers if it helps.

I most certainly do I just finished a RA Lancer today - 180hp stock up to 260hp at all four wheels at 20 psi perfect flat boost curve. Spread the word by all means, I will do so on some other forums and try and boost numbers.

This event is no longer necessary with Steve Knight racing in South Australia now on board with tuning the colt vehicles. Could the mods please lock this discussion.
