In collaboration with Skylines Au and VIC Imports, we're going to watch the new Fast Fives Movie on 22 Apr.

Proposed joint event with Skylines Australia (http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/358892-sau-movie-night-6-fast-and-the-furious-5/) (29 cars) and VIC Imports (15 cars).

We're hoping to fill the cinema lots with imports.

So following on from our recent events, I hope you guys will come along too. Need numbers soon. I've tentatively told the Skylines Au organiser that between RColt.com and ClubCJ.net will have approximately a dozen cars?

Just a heads up at the start of the week, This is on, this FRIDAY.

the meeting point if you're coming from the East is at The Pines Car park (http://maps.google.com.au/maps/place?client=safari&rls=en&oe=UTF-8&redir_esc=&um=1&ie=UTF-8&q=The+Pines&fb=1&gl=au&hq=The+Pines&hnear=Melbourne+VIC&cid=11377981060713130169). It's the one facing Reynolds Road I suspect but just bear in mind there are 2 large open air car parks there.

I read in the clubcj forum that the cost is $10 per car! Not sure if this is true as I thought it was counted per head. Anyway sounds like some fun even if it's a downpour.

Movie Start = 2100hrs

I am not the organiser for this, so I don't know how to get your specially priced ticket. I'm along for the ride as with everyone else.
So please try and make it to The Pines between 1900-1930hrs or wait outside Coburg Drive in at about 2020hrs.

First off a warning from Doncaster. Skies look scarily dark. No rain drops so far though. But my car might look polka dotty.:mad:

ATTENTION ALL ATTENDING THE MOVIE NIGHT:

I have discussed with Village about vouchers for entry and in the end we believed it would be too annoying for everyone to present one, so this is how you get the discount:

When you go to the booth state "Your with Skylines Australia movie cruise" and it will be $10 per person or $20 per car load, so if its over 2 in a car the max you pay is $20.

If you want to get some discounts on food (approx $3, not much) please come find me and I will give you a couple, most combos are $13 with the voucher instead of $16.

Also, I have told Village to look out for this car (yes its not glamorous, but it doesn't attract attention) as the starting point of our line as I am not taking the Skyline, so if you see this Charade, please let us go to the front so I can tell them the numbers as they are expecting me to have a final count.

MOST IMPORTANTLY

As this is a large event and it is Easter, there are a large number of police out in force and 80+ cars traveling to 1 destination is going to attract attention.

As you can tell, I have taken precautions by leaving my car at home, but if I see anyone doing stupid things I will be recording their regos and informing the appropriate parties as I know alot of people enjoy these nights and I have spent alot of time organising it. Furthermore, if they are a member of SAU I will be getting their username and discussing the appropriate punishment with the other vic exec's.

Sorry I have to be so blunt but i will not tolerate idiocy.

Quick question.. Did u guys leave ur car idle thru the whole movie, leave on acc or alternate thru the nite?? I wanna go to the drive in but not sure about the battery strength..

Kalt just left it on acc just so the radio was on. unless you runnin amps and shit, it will be fine *unless ur batt is half shagged!!! if ur worried, maybe half way thru the movie start ur car and let it run for 5 mins :)
