my 08 ralliart do,not have any place in the firewall to feed the plastic hose thru to the cabin meanwhile i fitted the tee to the hose manifold to the b o v temp fitted the autometer boost gauge to hose ( gauge is 0 to 30 psi no vacume ) start engine heaps of suck in hose no blow needle will not move (car out of gear revs to 5 grand) block off hose drive car heaps of boost comes in about 2300 r p m please how do i feed the hose thru the fire wall &why dos not the gauge registerwhen the turbo kicks in if i could get the gauge into the cabin i could see what happens when driving any help please alby from maroochy

You have to cut the hole yourself, these pics of mine will show you how, it's behind the battery. Just remove the top intercooler pipe and you'll be set.

I used the same hole as faux did, you will need to break thru the sound insulation behind it.
I have like 4awg and 3 sensor wires going thru it fine.
You should have got a guage that readus vacuume as well. The car wont build boost in neutral at all.

I find flour works well too.
the flour & hair worked I found the hole ha ha, fed the plastic pipe through & have temporary laid it, the pipe I mean, on the console. It registers up to nearly 15 psi. Next item on the agenda is to fit the gauge into the air-vent. Grateful for any ideas.

There is actually a thread on pulling the air vent apart for fitting of the gauge, all I can say is that you need small hands to get to the two screws behind the air vent (accessed from the side panel next to the door)!
