Just remember you'll need a tuning method (Adaptronic or reflash) when doing injectors...

I was kind of surprised how easy the injectors and pump were to change... There's some footage of the carnage on this video...

We have fuel pumps and injectors in stock for the colts now. Very very easy to fit up but as said, you will need retuning immedietly with alrger injectors.

What is the flow rate for the stock injectors?

Stock injectors are 275cc units

For the majority of people, a set of 390cc bolt ins would be perfect for stock internal engines

sorry for a dumb question, but does bigger injector = more fuel consumption (after retune)?

yes in the sense that you are running more boost, which means more fuel. But for normal daily driving no if tuned and setup properly you won't use more fuel.

Well. Couple issues with a 255LPH Walbro pump. Outlet nipple is too long. hardly fits length wise in its hole. Supplied sock hits bottom of tank before top seals. I suppose the 225LPH is shorter?

Okay 255 fitted.. Had to use stock sock to clear the bottom of tank.

I think I am getting about 50km less out of a tank with the new fuel pump and the stage 2 tune... but the car runs so much better that it is worth it... :)

You must be flooring it a lot to be reducing your fuel economy :) But that what its all about.

Thanks for all the help guys!

I already have 565cc sti injectors and have reflashed the car a couple of times already with some home tuning so scaling for injectors shouldnt be to much of a hassle.

"flooring it a lot" is an understatement... this current set up is going to cost me a fortune in tyres

I was maxing out my stock injectors at over 95% duty cycle on stock tf035 turbo.

When I changed to hybrid turbo, had to swap em to 390cc ones + EVO X stock fuel pump. Tuned on fuel regulator at 3bar, this combo lowered duty cycle to 65%.

Intention was to prevent CEL occuring from injectors at max duty cycle.
