I just can’t decide, I’m stuck in between the silver and the gun metal grey.

I have been in two minds all week and I need to pull my finger out and make a decision. Any thoughts ?, think I will let you all decide for me.

I must say, i prefer silver better. (Sorry Chipokae & Cisco :p) But the rcolt silver needs to be shiny clean before it looks good. A dirty silver rcolt will look grey...

I've the same problem a month ago when I choose the color. Silver vs Grey. I've picked silver at the end.

When I was choosing, this is what in my mind.

Silver - Much better outline of the black, easier to keep clean but is a more common color plus my previous is also silver.

Grey - More unique color, very nice but the black bonnet, wheel arch don't show up too well and harder to keep clean.

Cheers,
Jason

Gunmetal all the way mate!
sleek, stealthy and most of all, SEXY!
to be honest with you though, it seriously depends on what you're after. If you like the whole "stealthy" thing and go down the street unnoticed, then grey is the way to go. on the other hand, if you like a bit of attention, silver sparkles.
I personally dont like the attention, but dont like trying to keep black clean, so i just went with the gunmetal.
Also, if you're a lazy bastard and cant be screwed washing your car on a regular basis (say at least once a month) go for silver.
welcome to the club mate.

Thanks for the thoughts guys,

Exactly what I was thinking,
So right about the Gun metal blending in more and the silver being a nice contrast. In the end I do think the Grey is a nicer colour but the silver does make a nice contrast with the black.
Haven’t been able to look at a silver and a grey next to each other yet, that would make it easier I think.

By the way I see there is now a blue one for sale in Vic at the dealer that has been mentioned on this forum. I didn’t know a blue colour was even available. Looks ok but still prefer silver or grey.

Did anyone know about the blue??

Oh! they actually bring in the new blue color from Japan. Personally, i think the blue will look similar or has the same characteristic of gunmetal grey.

To see a silver and gunmetal grey standing side by side, you can refer to our previous 2 meet up pics:

I purchased a silver RC,but I would have prefered the red, which the dealer didn't have in stock at the time of purchase.

The reason why I prefer the red over any other colour, is that the huge rear tail lights blend into the red finish the best! :)

The silver finish does look better than the gun metal grey....but that is my personal opinion...
