These are a great idea from Jaycar for tapping into 12volt power for your interior accessories (gauges, shiftlights, etc etc), saves you having to cut up any dash wiring or trying to figure out which cable is for what. Simply have to check what the fuse is for - whether it is direct power or only active when accessories are on to suit your application. These fuses also light up so you can tell whether it has blown or not (probably better set up through accessories so there there is no constant power drain, even though it is probably minimal).

As long as ur only drawing small amounts of current you'll be OK.
Otherwise you may melt the fuse box plastic and the terminals will be cactus.

I had a mate who was supposedly good with wiring wire up my spotties back in the day. Didn't hook the relay up correctly and ran all the spottie current throught the fusebox and melted it. Took a while, but it did melt :(

if your really smart you can work out which pin in the fuse holder supplies the 12v, then install it so the pick off is after the fuse element, then it will be fused at 10a
