Hey guys
I bought my ralliart quite recently and found out that the front plastic splitters were removed. does anyone know how much they cost, what they are called and where to get them?
Posted some pictures to show where the plastic splitters were meant to be at
Cheers

Depends where you bought the colt from, if it came from a Mitsubishi dealer rather than a private sale, then I would go back to them and ask them to source a pair as it should include them. If not, they don't cost that much from memory.

Did you buy your colt from subaru wangara? From a guy called Gordon? Lol. I had a look at that colt not long ago...they said they would fix everything for me, coz i complained about it. But im guessing you didn't notice it was missing.

@Corosith: Cheers, do you know where to get it from privately?
@Oddone: Are they the one's most of the people here get from ebay? I am assuming they are direct bolt ons onto plastic splitters in front? Or do the plastic splitters need to be removed first in order to get the carbon one's on?
@Ruimond: From a different dude. Yeah I wasn't familiar with the ralliarts then, but now after further looking I realised they are there. Will be sending to RPW before the 3 month warrenty ends for a check, and if anything comes up i'll be ready to blast them. I heard that you were looking for a ralliart but I think that was some time back already, have you gotten one?

You can get the plastic air dams from sgcarstyling.com i think or someone in sydney apparently i can't find the link. The ebay ones are the carbon fibre ones. Since you don't have any you should just get the air dams instead of the stock ones haha.
Ahhh, when i drove the black one you bought, the boost didn't feel as strong as the 09 one i drove at meville. Im thinking the boost could be leaking or something not sure. You might want to check its getting to the proper stock boost psi.
Yeah i finally found a factory demo, well the dealer found one for me. So im waiting for that to come from the eastern states. Its a 2009 model with 8,500km or so in Silver. Meant to be coming after christmas or just past the new year.

Yea I had same issue with mine when I bought it but they agreed to replace them along with re-spraying the bonnet and buffing out marks on the rear bumper/doors.
Contemplating the airdams though.. would love the CF ones though I can see some intelligent sod ripping them off/standing on them and breaking them.

I scrape mine now and again, don't think I could bear having lovely CF air dams , the crusty fibreglass ones will do! At least the small factory ones are plastic and have some give in them, fibreglass ones just crack and splinter till there's nothing left. At the rate I'm going I'll be looking for some new OEM air dams soon.

How do you tell whether there is a boost leak and is it costly to patch up? Haha that's good to hear, you must be very very excited to get them

Need a boost gauge or im sure you can get it checked other ways. But if you think it feels ok then i wouldn't worry about it. Because i was just going from past test drive and the 09's do have abit more ponnies apparently. So might just have been that. I haven't driven any other 2006-2007 ones prior, so i wouldn't take my comment to accurately. Haha. Might have just been because it was a semi hot day.
Yeah pretty excited, trying not to think about it to much. Its been many months of waiting, but i've been waiting 2 weeks since he said it would come so i hope it comes in the new year.
thats weird
the car must have had the aftermarket splitters on it but might have been damaged
so they would have sold it with nothing, rather than scared up splitters
get them to put the OEMs back on

@Ruimond: Nice, looking forward to the pictures of your new baby when it arrives!
@Alba: Shoots, I've bought the car round about 2 months ago already, do they need to have it on as according to the 3 month statutary warrenty? Checked out some of the redbook pictures, apparently some of the pictures shows rcolts without the front air splitters

If there are holes there like they are missing it's a good chance they weren't replaced/reinstalled when traded.
