If I want to buy a new panel air filter , be it K&N or Ralliart or anything suitable where do I look for them ?

Ralliart one is like $170 from sponsors, but i hear they are comming hard to come by.
Your best bet is a K&N filter, searchthe part number and order in from local parts shop who sell K&N or grab one from RPW sponsor on this site, K&N you will get a heap of change from $100 they are $70 area

The Ralliart panel filters are harder to come by now, but IMO are not worth the money, around the $200 mark.
K&N are around the $80-95 mark depending on where you get them from.
Try RPW (one of the site vendors) for K&N.
I had a ralliart filter, now on the K&N panel filter, and wish i had gone it (K&N) to start with. Cheaper, and a very nice spooling noise from the airbox :-)

Yeah, the K&N one will last just about forever. Make sure you buy some spray on filter oil and a spary bottle of filter cleaner (both K&N brand) for it, and ensure that you do not over oil it the element after cleaning the filter and drying the filter. I've got both Ralliart & K&N filters and the Ralliart one is simply not worth the money, is quieter, and only has a limited life span. I think Blitz and a few other jap brands make panel filters as well, but they are bloody expensive in comparison the the K&N.
Hi guys I'm looking for the K&N panel filter for my rcolt and need to know the part number please...

You can buy it from RPW. Cheaper then most other places that will quote you i think.

I have the Blitz fitted, got it from perfectrun and cost around $70 delivered. Do any of you guys have issues with oil stuffing up the MAF when you use the K&N, that's the reason I ended up getting the Blitz. Only down side is it's gotta be replaced every 15000km.

not if you oil it correctly
the mistake most make is putting too much on it... the directions are a little misleading because they say to spray until the pleats are red... they wont ever get red because the oil is pink. just a light spray, let it soak/wick for at least 20 mins and you'll be gravy
oh, and let the filter dry properly before oiling, otherwise the oil wont bond with the foam and will be sucked off when it goes back into the airbox
oh and for gods sake, buy the aerosol oil, takes about a tenth of the time

Cheers, might have a crack at a K&N, the Blitz is nice but gets $$$ replacing them all the time.
