For those interested in changing their stock air filter elements to a K & N,this article makes interesting reading.

In summary, the K & N flowed better,but when it came to filtration, it performed poorly, according to the test report.

Poor filtration can shorten the life of the turbo, and, the particles that pass through the filter, ends up in your oil, which circulates around in your engine.

Autosaloon magazine has a air filter test not long ago. I believe the result winner actually goes to Simota (the cheap brand). Surprise surprise

High Preformance Imports also Tested Filters and again the Cheap "DRIFT" brand came out on top.

Yep the yellow simota pod's came out convincing winners, flowed the best and came second in filtration or something like that...

oh?? is Simota available in OZ land as well?? they have quite effective carbon charger air intake setups...

They are avaliable here....just not liked by alot. Does Simota has a intake kit for RColt in singapore?
