I would like to start a thread about peoples experince with Mistubishi Service.
I for one will not be returning to My local dealer for service work as putting bluntly they suck arse.I had the car booked in for the first service and paint work issues.Car was left overnight and they still didnt address the paint work problem. Only after i had to point out that they had missed the entire rear of the car and also inside had also been missed these was a paint protection and fabric protection had not been applied propley the first time. The PD manager couldnt even be bothered explaining what had been done or what the problem had been in the first place. That was left to some service guy who didnt even know what he problem was in the first place.Sorry for the rant but we spend hard earned money on these cars and a bit of respect and manners from the company would be nice. Not being treated like a pain in the arse for pointing out things that had not been done correctly in the first place.

I 2nd about not going to Mitsu Service Dept for any work.

As i said before, 90% of the mechanics are 18 yrs old apprentice in their 1st yr tafe. It's just not very ensuring for me. But other than that, the service i received from North Shore Mitsu Service Dept is quite ok. They even have a drop down glass window, overlooking at their mechanic workshop for everyone to see what they are doing to your car.

Personally, if i ever need to do any mechanic check or work with them, i will never let it overnight. It is not acceptable to spend big bucks with them and yet getting such a slow, ineffective service

Generally, I have found that all car branded service departments to be of the same poor standard. They must be all trained by the same school of 'How To Treat The Client Like An Idiot'.
I have owned different brands of vehicles over the years, and not one service department has ever had any respect, regardless the amount the vehicle was worth.

The best solution is to find a privately owned service centre, that somebody can recommend you, or one that you can trust.
I personally have been using the same non factory service centre for nearly 10 years now, and they still bend over backwards, whenever I bring a car in for a service.
The end result is better service, and at a better price.
Only ever take your car to the dealer,if you have a warranty issue.
