That white Evo in the first pic looks just like mine! I'm like, "My wife's been where with who? Oh wait a sec...."

I like the black mirrors. Nice and subtle. Might look into that.

Are they custom eyelids or purchased?

Headlight make a difference? I drive a lot at dawn and need better lighting.

Man that Bride rides high. Have you looked at lowered seat rails? I'm considering it as my next purchase as the Lancer has a far better driving position and it's hard to change between the two.

Hey fren...those eyelids are from ROAR japan...got it off a colt owner but it fitted perfectly...been there since day 1...

Dont quite get your headlight question??? u mean the HIDs??

nope the Brides sit just fine...I ordered in from Japan a bolt on seat rail...its distributed here in Spore via a very well know dealer specialises in pdts like helmets, gloves, seat, rails from brands like recaro, brides, omp and the like! i tilted the seat slightly with the help of spacers at the front 2 sections for better comfort...just that the angle of this picture couldnt tell

I noticed the roof brace. And the electronic overload. Trying to ignore it.
I don't know about these people without kids that have way too much money to spend on cars....

SG + Malaysia import car tax is STUPIDLY high. I know in malaysia its due to the "protection" of proton. Maybe same for SG but all i know is a Corolla over there would cost the same as a C200 here~

Ha Brad

nicely said! Yup...very much in line with your comments..over in spore, its all abt loans and interests...the average sporean wldnt really claim that he is debt free from housing, cars, etc. maybe until the later years...
Well, one big hobby and pride of sporeans definitely got to be modding cars...you cant imagine the heaps of $$$ gg into making the car look nicer, faster, fiercer!!!

Hi bro...tks! I got it off a supplier who brings these buttons from Hong Kong...not sure if Oz land has such vendors?

Whoa! 120% tax on your car.

Does that mean you paid more then double the price?

Those singapore meets are pretty awesome. Such good numbers show up

starter buttons are a rather easy but expensive affair.

Pivot start button $60
Then a blitz turbo timer loom to suit Mitsubishi and then modify to suit starter button

I got mine for SGD60 with installation...quite ok for me...
Pivot buttons are selling much more expensive, about SGD100 for the small ones without labour...

if you guys are interested, I cld talk to the guy (owner of a tc swift sport) and c if he's ok to extend the supply to australia

@ elegent - http://www.odysseybatteries.com/battery/pc925series.htm
he has a 925 series...reading the spec...the initial CCA should be more than enough to turn our lil engine over
and u can mount there under the seat...i am lookin at doing this atm...but 400$ for a battery i dunno @_@

hey dude i wanna know about the throttle body coolant bypass. how hard is it to do, i think im going to do it

Macca
17-09-2010, 11:42 AM
It wouldnt be hard to do, but its heated to stop ice buildup from high air velocity, not much point either would be worth stuff all at the wheels

ELEGNT
17-09-2010, 12:52 PM
he said it made 10 degrees cooler intake temps?

i was thinking over the summer months bypass it and in winter change it back if its not to hard

Just scanning over a few forums, and there seems to be little to be gained from this mod. Afterall, the air passing through the throttle body would move at such a velocitiy that it wouldn't have the chance to heat up anyway. Also read about the coolant having something to do with idle control (on Evo's), and could raise the idle speed. Most people found next to no measurable gain, with others more so a placebo effect. I think i'd prefer to leave the factory setup as is.
