DIY Intake plate??

Just came across this on Singapore's Colt forum, one of their member went to do a DIY intake plate that diverts more air into our OEM plastic intake snorkle. Although it looks abit dodgy, but it might work....

Might attempt something like that someday. Should be piss easy to do.

i think the theory is great by placing the metal plate there, but whats the point when the bottleneck is at the air filter? so my as well change the stock filter to k&n or hurricane. confirm better perforamce.
