View Full Version : Tutorial: How To Remove Centre Top Dash Panel

Drop down the glovebox as explained in the owner's manual.

Grab a powerful torch.

Shine the torch up through the open area under the dash towards the direction of the left hand corner of the centre dash panel. You will spot a light grey V shaped part pointing downwards.Push up on this piece.Presto, you have popped the corner of the centre dash panel.Lift panel gently upwards from the top of the dash.That's it!

well i have the owners manual and i couldnt remove the glovebox, when you say drop down do you mean remove or just open ?

You don't remove the glovebox.Just let it flop down, once you have removed the clip from the left hand corner.

I hope roadster reads back to this he seems quite clued up on pulling the car apart, I am putting in a boost gauge and mounting it on the windscreen surround drivers side, the pannel/trim doesn't seem to want to come out without a fight, the boss (my wife) caught me trying to get it off- the trim that is, and I think I had better make sure it comes off with out anything fancy being done.
