Uses for the top Centre Cover

Been thinking of various things to do with the top centre cover as pictured below:

Would the Adaptronic unit fit in there, rather than in the glovebox or in the engine bay?

it be in direct sunlight in summer....perth gets pretty fuckn warm...

Nope, too thick to fit in there... My adaptronic is mounted in the passenger side footwell. Not sure where daed's and jemjem's are located... I have a video mount under that panel...

Cut the panel under the top cover to get more room.
Will be looking at putting in a cut-out when I make up my binnacle for the extra gauges.
