my tyres where worn out and i have been meaning to replace them. i started early/left work early as in canberra i work next to all the big chains (ozzy, jax, beau and tyres and more/ Pat's) and i had a snoop around for tyres
i found very limiited supply of tyres i could get in within a month:
Silverstones
Base model Toyo's
base good years and bridgestones
basicly nothing special and all around the $180 mark
then i drove Past Pat's tyres (seems to be related to tyres and more). they have a BIG Yokamma sign out the front and i thought, okay if anyone will these guys will.
i pul in. small store but i look at the racks. full of Advan sport tyres... i am thinking okay this is looking good.
then i get the guys attention and i tell him i am after some ad07's he said yeah i saw you pull in the colt.
he gets on the phone to his supplyer and after a short wait, yep i can get them in. now i waited for hte price. having seen some as high as $500 (in stock) at some places i was ready for a wallop and was woundering if it was worth it.
he tells me... 580 for the pair, replaced and balanced old tyres disposed of! (in canberra its about $30 to shred a old tyre) for that money i was estatic and paid on the spot. now the best part
WITHIN 2 WORKING DAYS NO FUSS OVER A LONG WEEKEND!!!!!! JOY i will have them on weds or thurs
