Bridgestone Potenza RE-001 Adrenalin (http://www.potenza-adrenalin.com/)

Launched worldwide 3 weeks ago by Bridgestone worldwide, this tyre will offer an alternative to the non-available Yokohama Advan Neova AD-07 in the same OEM size.

The RE-001 is developed and blueprinted on providing an economical product specifically in target for young driving/motoring enthuasists and shares a thread developed pattern hybrid of the flagship JDM RE-01R and RE-070.

In Australia, the RE-001 replaces the discontinued GIII & S-03 series. Price is also competitively priced and is a good 40% cheaper than the AD-07 in the same size!

I'm sure many enthuasists here will share the same joy and positive news from Bridgestone and will be excited to try this as an alternative product, well priced from it's development footprint.

Yes yes, i am looking at it recently. According to ClubITR members, a 16 inch should be around 200 bucks a pop. Pretty well priced if you ask me.

They still don't look as sticky as the AD07's, more like a competitor to the S Drives...

That is correct. The RE001 is a direct competiter of S Drive as Bridgestone will still have RE-01R as their flagship street tyre.

I have sat in a DB-8 on RE-01R.. The car sticked to the road like a lizard on the ceiling.. Damn solid!!
