I hope everyone is looking after their tyres. Apparently they are the best ones on the market, I know of a few drivers of other car type are wanting our tyres.

I received a message from my Mr saying to look after them because they are not available in the country for another 12mths, 3 days later I got a large screw in one. It is now fixed but no more driver training until I get a new set of tyres.

Looks like I will be doing some mods a little earlier than first thought. Good luck if you can import them earlier.

Ours are Yokohama ADVAN Neova AD07. One of the best.

I hope you guys dont have winter down there :o . It's design only for summer. Sunny Singapore would do just fine.

Are you sure you dont have them down under?

I plan to switch to 205/40R17 for 17" rims. No problem getting them here.

Why is it not avaliable for the next 12 mth? Do you mean its not avaliable from the Ralliart dealers or Yokohama distributors? As far as i know, for non RColt people, they always have to import these tyres themselves if they ever want one.

Remember to info us on your mods ;)

Oh! How about trying on another brand of tyres in the meantime?

We do have winter here (average lowest is only like 8 degree, which isn't that bad), but just no snow. Hence its still fine, just need to turn on the ASC & TSC all the time if want to play safe.

Yes, i can't get it down in Australia. They are not in the approved list of legal road tyres for Australia's condition. The only reason why we still get them on our RColt, is due to a flaw in the road legal system. It is said, if a car is designed in any particular way, it will have to stay in that way if you are to bring it in.

In the New Year, I'm looking at upgrading to a 17x17.5" wheel with a 225 or 235 Toyo T1R. My Mr and his racing friends are running these tyres on their road performance cars. For the price point they say it is an excellent tyre for wet and dry.

Very nice! Heard good things about T1R. Any pic of what rims you getting? *envy* I seriously doubt my missus will even allow me to get rims :(

Dear, remember to check if it fits the CVR. Our wheels PCD are quite rare. I am no wheel/tyre expert but 225/235 seems a bit too much?

The AD07 i am getting is 205/40R17 which is the same as the ralliart 17" Enkei wheels/tyre bundle.

Steal some info from SG forum. Hope he doesnt mind. :p

The Patriarch of Version-R is pleased to announce that he's now running on 17" TE37 with 215/40R17 AD07.

Once again, the specs of my TE37.

17 X 7.5JJ
Offset +40

With 17" and 215/40R17, the gap (between fender and tyre) for front was reduced from 4 fingers to 3 fingers and the gap for bakc was reduced from 3 fingers to 2 fingers.

Using an offset of +40, my front wheel almost flush with the fender, back wheel still looks almost the same when in stock.
