Anyone installed a water temp gauge, or the RColt already has this from factory? I know that I need to make a tee of metal to install in the engine block, but dunno the exact details, don't want to screw things up with the sensor .. any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!

water temp sensor is already there
u can read it from obdII device
i would recommend oil/fuel pressure gauge over temp

Ayu beat me too it. Just grab a scangauge II. I have mine showing intake temp and water temp. Oil temp and pressure is a better idea for specific gauges. I'd have an oil temp gauge if autometer made the fucking things in celcius instead of farenheit.

Water temp id useless, you have one on the dash!
and if you have a scan guage you can read that too.
but if you really really want one.
get one of these

You cut the radiator line, install that and put sensor into it DONE

oil temp is harder.
Generaly you have to either tap into the engine block.
Or use a sandwhich place on the oil filter block.
but the Rcolt uses a sandwich plate on there already for a water/oil cooler.
So with the Rcolt, you would need to remove the water oil cooler, loop the water lines, install a sadwich plate with an air oil cooler and install the sensors on the new plate.
you couldnt add a 2nd plate as the filter would sit way to low.

Oh jee, is that complicated? sticking with the water temp then.
@mitsumies, long live ebay :D
