Even before I picked my Rcolt up I was looking for these. Just waiting on shipping.

Heres the manufacturers website in case the ebay auction vanishes.

meh, these dont look too bad, but ya gotta show the recaros off man. seat covers never seem to fit racing seats well- always look baggy. i think id rather pay to get em cleaned or reupholstered if they get bad anyways. Dunno how much it would cost but its gotta be round the same price as a couple decent seat covers. mine still look as new n i spend a fair bitta time in em.

I reckon just fit the cover for the base an leave the top exposed. Most wear will be on the seatbase gettin in an out methinks

Gday, save your money because any throw over fits OK [they come in many designs n colours, n hide the seats from the thieves ]

I'm surprised at the responses I'm getting here.
I want to keep my seats clean. I don't have the cleanest job in the world and the colt is my daily.
The slip over covers are honestly, IMO a waste of time for what I want. Better suited to the one time use.
James.

hey,
what do u do to keep them clean? do you just use water or a particular product.
I was thinking of getting some throws to so i dont get them dirty when daily driving and just taking em off for cruises etc, but if they are relatively easy to keep clean that would be cool....

Pull over covers are fine if you just want to keep the seats clean, kind of wish I had bought some ages ago!
You will find the drivers thigh bolster will be the first to wear (as seen on a lot of older Evos), mine has a fair bit of wear, usually from getting in and out of the colt when wearing jeans (metal rivets on pockets). :)

just put a seat cover over the drivers and expose the passenger seat that way you can still show off the recaro seats :)

nothing so far man, they havn't got to a point where ive had to try a product. I give em a good vacuum every now an then. I dont get real dirty, but i work in a workshop and i drive it daily. I wanna get the interior detailed once i get my dash and head unit finally fitted. Im guessing they will shampoo and condition the seats then.
im not worried about having em nicked (would be highly unlikely and id imagine insurance would cover it). The recaros were one of the selling points of this car for me, so IMHO id rather not hide em.
on the topic tho, i heard years ago that over time car seat covers let fine particles of dirt through the fabric, and friction ends up working it into the seats anyway. dunno if its true, probably a load of bollocks.
i wouldnt put water on alcantara
i spray a little meguiars upholstery cleaner onto a cotton cloth and brush that over when she gets a wash
i've got a big mac sauce stain on one of my seats though :( i'm a bit afraid of making it worse so i'll leave it for when she gets her yearly professional detail
