Well boys and girls in one week I'll pick up my new Ralliartcolt.

I've been thinking about painting the black parts of the kit silver to match the body, right around to the taillights.I've seen it done on a wheels magazine...?

Would you just get the wheel arms done, the whole thing or not at all?

Hi Jaco,

Your idea has already been taken by one of our previous member BBColt. He has colour matched the wheel arch and left the rest as is. Search for his thread and you can see for yourself. People have different opinions. As for the taillight, you could simply get a taillight cover from ROAR in Jap. I'm getting one myself. Much better than spraying paint on top of the plastic.

In my opinion, you should respray the plastic bodykit into gloss black. Just look at the ralliart demo rcolt at last year's Tokyo Autosalon, red with gloss black body kit = HOT :D

By the way, where are you from? Maybe you can update your location profile.

It's $550 For The Wheel Arms And Another $750 For The Side Skirts, Front Spoiler And Small Sections Of Rear Spoiler.

I Just Dont Know If I Want To Paint It Gloss Black To Stand Out Or Colour Coded To Blend In?

Being As My Car (mitsubishi Evo 8) Was Stolen A Month Ago......

That's expensive. All these parts all only add up to a surface area of a panel and yet it cost 3 panel's respray price?? Where did you get quoted??

I'm pretty sure this kind of job only cost around 5 - 600 bucks. We can always min the cost by pulling out all the plastic bodykit. Its not that hard.

By the way, JACO, u want to join us on coming monday for a meetup? There's a thread on RColt event section.
