CES performace exhausts

Have been talking with these guys. Might be able to organise a group buy with them.
What I have got from them so far. ( blue them, red me )

Hello There CES,
My name is Steve and I am a member of a aus forum for the new ralliart colts. One of our members took some snaps of the car you had on display at one of the auto stalls which has generated a lot of interest. I just had afew questions for you if that's ok.

1. Did you have any dyno graphs of the before and after the exhaust application that you fabricated ?

2. Was the standard turbo retained and unmodified ?

3. Was the exhaust a full system, ie headers, high flow cat muffler etc.

4. What diameter pipe did you use for the system ?

5. What brand cat, resonator ( if any ) and muffler was used.

6. And finally what were the costs of each of the parts and the full system for the car ? Afew of us are very interested in the headers and those in QLD in getting the full system installed by you guys.

7. If we had afew people interested in headers or systems could we get a price for them delivered to sydney addresses as we are a forum that are finding it hard to find decent performance shops to who make upgrades for our vehicles.

CES Racing Systems fabricated a custom system - Turbo back exhaust system
for the Ralliart Colt.. which resulted in an extra 11 kw @ the wheels
pick-up..
Turbo manifold picked up 5 kw extra through mid range power.
Boost remained at .7 Bar.

Exhaust includes:
Custom Twin Dump Pipe in Stainless Steel
2 1/2" flex joint,
2 1/2" Euro 4 Catalytic Converters
2 1/2" Resonator,
2 1/2" N1 Style Polished Rear Muffler,
Fully flanged system in Stainless steel - nuts/bolts/gaskets

Further to your recent enquiry about Performance exhaust systems for the
Ralliart Colt.
Trevor has mentioned.. As our original vehicle was done as a custom job -we
do need an initial car for jigging up (replicating the first system) .
We may be able to organise the original vehicle in to do this - can find
out...

Also if you were truly interested in further pursuing a group purchase - a
Special Price for a minimum of 5 x OFF ......as a group can be organised.

Thank you for your reply. If the original car can not be obtained we have afew members up in brisbane, but we would need to tie one of them down to commit to leaving there car there. And if they don't I would be willing to drive up from syd if it came to that. With the special price that you have mentioned, I understand we would need a minimum of 5 people, but what would be the % off.
If I could get off you a price for just the headers. With all nuts and bolts and flanges to bolt it up and delivered to syd ( and price without postage ). Then a price for the full system from engine to rear bumper all nuts and bolts delivered to syd. ( and price without postage ) and sorry to be a real pain, but a price for the whole system installed by you guys up there. Ie if I brought my car up to bris and got you guys to make, fit and install the whole system. ( then I could bring the headers back down to syd for people. Ie the price without postage.

The first email they replied to you with (minus the part personally addressed to you) is EXACTLY what they printed out and gave to me. From personal enquiries about mods for our cars, I'd be waiting for Blitz to release their full turboback exhaust. There has been a number of exhausts released lately by Blitz and my connection to Blitz has told me that they recently sold a guy a full TITANIUM turboback exhaust for AUD$600. Unsure of car make/ model.

G'day Gents,

Who would be interested in a CES exhaust group buy? If we get five or more involved I'll talk to Trevor about volume pricing. Once the system is jigged (he can use my car) he can whip them out pretty easily.

I know Trevor for years and actually was exporting his WRX systems to the states for a while. His quality is second to none - really nice stuff. Here are some pictures of the WRX system he sells. All his Turbo-back systems incorporate his "Twin tube" design - separating the main exhaust from the wastegate. He gets impressive power gains compared to "wide-mouth" downpipes.

A couple of more pics. Notice the little "tongue" that separates the main exhaust from the wastegate flow. Those are specially fabricated, per turbo, to get as close as possible to the internal housing.

what price is he going to do for 5+ people ?
Cause at the moment we can get a full turbo back system down here for 1100-1200 and he wants something like 2.5g's..
4 or 5g might be the best exhaust in the world...but really thats uber expensive. If you do get him to do an exhaust for you and will still do the headers for 1600 i would been keen for a set of them. ( if a large / more open flange is used for possible upgrade later on )
is a screamer pipe really necessary ?

I spoke to Trevor about a group buy. If we can get five or more takers he can do the following:

2 1/2" Turbo Back
Twin Tube Dump Pipe (Ceramic Coated Mild Steel, keeps the heat in the pipe instead of in your engine bay)
Hi-flow Cat (Not Euro-4 - Euro-4 cats are crazy expensive add $250 if you want one)
Resonator (unless you want it loud)
Rear Muffler
Tip of choice
Besides Dump Pipe, the rest of the system is stainless

Complete System - $2,250

Stainless Extractors (4mm wall) - $1,600

Package deal - $3,500

Still pricey but probably worth it - ask anyone with a WRX.
