Hey Guys...
Got the new filter today and have fitted it. Man, when the turbo kicks in and the air starts to suck harder, the air comes through so much quicker, the turbo kickks in I would say atleast 20-30% harder. I will also be testing this on the dyno when I get time to get out there...

interesting. Is there any way to clean these filters or are they disposable?

nice work Steve.

GucciPiggy: Its not possible to fully clean the stock filter. The only thing you can do, is to maybe give it a big shake in hoping the dirt will fell off :D Having said that, even the Ralliart filter is not really reuseable friendly.

Hell yes!

Ordered my Blitz Pod the other day so will be interesting to see the differences! Take you long to remove the battery?

didnt, that why my arm and hand hurt. there is a clip for the standard box in the back left ( passenger ) side, which is a mother to open and close. I have had a close look @ the space in the engine bay, and there really isnt anywhere where i think a pod would fit to retain the CAI theory. Unless you take all the piping off, relocate the intercooler and plumb a system from the air at the bottom up to a secure box near the current box location. My only thoughts were to get the battery relocated to the boot and drop the ecu from next to the battery abit further down the side to give you move room up top. That and the pod will be facing the wrong way and making the air do more turns and twists.
does your blitz one have room for the massive air flow meter that i pictured ?
what was the cost and does it include the AFM pipe ?
got a pic of it as well ?

It's a full kit, made for our cars ready to bolt on. If you go on the blitz website and go to news then new products, using a language translator you will find the Blitz Pod for Colt Ralliart. www.blitz.co.jp. It sits in the factory position and I will be leaving the bottom half of the air box in, which has the hole in it with the pipe that goes back to the front bar. I will also be using some flexi pipe to make my own CAI. I'll let you know how it goes when I get it (next week or week after).

Is the Ralliart air filter element, pre-oiled or dry type?

um, was pre-oiled i think. normally foam type filters are. didnt want to touch the element part.

This is how the Blitz kit looks in the Colt CZT engine bay.

interesting, but mines a ralliart filter for a ralliart car. So id think it would be alittle more suitable.
