Ford Fiesta XR4

It seems that Ford is about to release the hot version of the Fiesta.

At 25k it would seem to be great value for money and with simillar power/weight to the Rcolt it might give us a run for our money.

Oh yes, i can't wait to see the XR4. It certainly looks the good. Pity that it doesn't come in 4 door.

For its price / performance / practicality / equipement ratio, its certainly a good match for RColt.

they are supposed to be a pretty decent drive, pitty about the interior space - way to small for me, i've been in the fiesta zetec and the back seat space is tiny (i'm a bit over 6" tall tho)

They do look very hot, isn't it ;) I have the same concern as you aby82, its interior space is way too small. (i'm only around 5"10 - 5"11) It has the interior size of my old 99' Mirage.

Yes, they are 17 inch.

If RColt is small in interior + fitted with a inferior seat, it will most likely to be of the same price of a new XR4, hence that's why i said it has the same bang for your buck factor as a rcolt.

I was looking at buying a Fiesta before I purchased the RC.
Interior of the Fiesta is quite smaller, and the dash looks absolutely tiny in comparison.:)

HAHA yes rdster - in comparison to our dash that can easily fit a pizza or play a game of monopoly on :D

lovecolt - i'm sure they are capable performance wise, 1.8 or 2.0ltr engine in a little car like that, its comparable to the renaultsport clio! and normal fiesta handles well so i'd imagine this would be improved in the xr4 too

Yup! Never have a doubt with its performance. Its a well known hot hatch in Euro and i have seem videos where its thrashes our CZT cousin on 5th Gear.
