Does anybody know the weight of the standard 16" Ralliart Colt wheel, without the tyre?

According to "ecac", stock rim weigh 9.6kg. However ecac didn't mention if its with the tyres on it or not.

If only you post this earlier, i'm sure 27AME will be glad to weight the rims when he change his tyres to Yokohama S Drive today.

hey guys, sorry didn't see this earlier. I don't know how if 9.6kg is with wheel and tyre - but I still have an AD07 here, not on a rim and its bloody heavy!

Can you weight it. If its like 5 - 6 kg, then the 9.6 would only be rims only.

Each rim is 9.65kg without tyres.

Weight of standard Goodyear F1 205/45R16 plus 16x6.5 alloy rims is HUGE, about 19.5 Kgs. In fact that much weight plus low height from rim to ground, makes suspension to appear stiffer. I use 185/55-R15 with Mitsu 15" STEEL rims in winter. Weight is 8 Kg for michelin alpin winter tyre and 7 Kg for the rim. Steel is "lighter" than alloy? Just 15 Kg in all, with the feel of a much softer suspension. Car is 4.5x4=18Kg lighter.
Grip in the wet is much better than before, no need to get some snow to see this is a better option. When dry you feel the car better, not "isolated" feel from ground, like when using F1s.
I use them from november to may, in summer I go back to F1s, because asphalt temperature needs, but I do not like them. We need to find good and light 16x7" rims for 205/45 tyres. 6.5" width is really not enough for stock F1s unless we change size to 195/50.

man, by the sound of this, we are seriously carrying too much unwanted weight. If we go by Chipokae's suggestion and buy those Buddyclub rims (around 6kg) plus some light weight lock nuts, we should save around 15kg of unsprung weight.

Yes, non-suspended masses must been kept as low as possible. Besides those masses (i.e brakes, springs and arms) have no other suspension but some pneumatic effect of air inside the tyre and rubber flex of side wall. 205/45 has a small 92mm side. 185/55 side is 10.2 and 195/50 is 9.8mm and I find a better size for 16" rims.
Where can I find, in Europe, those 6Kg for 16" rims? How wide are they, 6.5 or 7"?
Does anybody know distance between bolts and off-set of our 16" rims?

The stock 06 wheel weights just above 9kg. With tyres is gets close to 20kgs

Not sure on the 08s though.

The AD07 tyres weigh about 8kgs and the 08 rims weigh around 7.5kgs.

Oops, stand corrected, I knew the diff was 1.5kgs between the 08s and 06s.

16x7 SSRs weigh 5.2kgs.

I run 16x7 SSR Type Cs (5.2kgs each), when I first put them on it seemed a little snappier but the main improvement was in the low speed manoeuvreing in car parks etc, light as a feather.

I think all aftermarket wheels would be lighter than the stockies.

Mine are copies. 16x7 and only weigh 6kg.

I just remember vaguely that it's about 18.xx kg for the stock rims with tyres and the rim itself is about 9.x kg.
