The Mitsubishi GSR/EVO Club Present Round 2 of the Phillcom Rally Time Attack Series 2009. The event will be held at Mallala Motor Sport Park on Public Holiday 5th October 2009.

I will be around then, but the Mrs has taken a day off on the 5th, so probably no car stuff for me unfortunately. If you guys get a chance, go out and watch the time attack, even though Mallala is lights years out of Adelaide, it's still a nice relaxing day watching various turbo beasts flying around the track. :)

Mallala isnt too far away, but on a warm spring day at 110 km/hr there could be bugs splattering my clean colt !!!!!!

Hendo, what the general times for the events?

Prolly get some maccas on the way out there - either breakie or lunch, depending on the time the racings going on.

Im going to get breaky at maccas at around 8:30am at Main North Road - across from the BP and Red Rooter.

If anyone wants to join in the trip out there, I was going to stay out there a few hours, take some photos, and then get back to town bout mid arvo.

Let me know if your interested in cruising out there as a pack, im going there regardless for a look. :)

Good to see you walking in one of those photos. Alot of over correcting there all day, but by the look of the photos your wheels prolly got caught on the edge of the track, woulda brought you round a bit sharper than you woulda liked, especially with the back wheel off the track. Shame.

Damn I hate that no.1 corner at Mallala, just doesn't feel right as the camber is all over the place, hence why so many of the cars get sideways around there - including the 4wd's. Do you have no choice but to break up the car and try to get some money back on the parts? Just let the guys know which way want to head, as we don't want to seem like a pack of vultures taking advantage of your misfortune Hendo.:o

cheers coro, i was hoping you and / or TMR were going to go to Mallala because i was going to ask about how you guys go about your photos. Wanted to take my images and tweaking to another level. Must say, vista made the process pretty cool, cant wait to do something with another lot of film. A Q9650 processor and a pair of gtx260's make light work of any multimedia processing - its just getting the film in the first place.:D

I spun on that very corner in my Suzuki Gti, but fortunately let the car spin and do a 180 rather than try to over-correct, certainly got the adrenalin pumping - the back end was set up too stiff and would lose grip without warning.:eek:

turn 1 was pretty scary in the colt,

i thought it was a piece of pie in my minis, though i've seen two other minis roll there :(
