Interesting find. CVR shares the same boss kit as for Evo 9. Seems that there are many interchangable parts with the Evo 9.

Here's the part number in case you are looking for one:
MMA-243

PS: Comes with airbag by-pass.

Its some japanese brand. Did not catch the name cos I rang up to ask.

At least we know that we can get one off the E9 to fit. Any brand you fancy. :D

if you dont have the airbag by pass on the boss kit would you get a warning light on the dash ?

Yes, I was told there will be a light on the dash if I did not get the air bag by-pass kit. However I note that its just extra wiring based on pictures alone on the net.

The boss kit is on indent basis so haven had a chance to see the real thing. Prob we can just wire up the air bag wires to a voltage supply or ground.

don't even think about it, if you car is standard with a airbag and you removed it, you car is 100% not road worthy!

That's correct. But at least its nice to know we have alternatives. ;)

Could someone explain to me what is the boss kit? :)

Basically, it is the adaptor for you to put on aftermarket steering wheel.

If you look at your stock steering wheel, the actual wheel is been pushed out quite abit from the connecting part. It is to avoid hitting the side indictor stick and side washer stick. Hence if you swap it with a aftermarket steering (which will not have anything to put it out) without a boss kit, the new steering wheel will hit the 2 side stickers. Hope that explains.
