Well decided to treat myself to a yr airbox since the dollar was good, thanks to ryan for organising everything:D And actually going through ryan works out cheaper than actually sourcing it youself so keep that in mind. Everything comes neatly packaged in a plastic bag which is divided into its parts with a manual in japanese. Even came with a cable tie for maf sensor =] Took me about an hour and half like the others ...but i didn't remove the front strut, instead i took of the cover over it and took out the battery and the battery plate and with supreme weeving skills its went in alright.

I must say its a piece of work, when i first opened it it looked pretty damn sexy. So it went in and I took it for a drive, cos of the ralliart piping the induction noise increased with a bit of lag, and it has a nice blow off sound (similar sound to a evo 8MR with the arc filter box) Took it up freeway and took some pics and gave it a boot up eagle on the hill and at the high rev range it just bolts, gets twice as noisy with the sound...anyway heres some pics and im sure in two weeks jason will have his say when he takes it for a boot. For those interested probs be getting a dyno on october long weekend, i'll do a prerun with the box and then do another couple once the 2.5"exhaust goes on hopefully with the down pipe if tax return comes back maybe even the intercooler haha.

anyway a worth while mod, bit of bling for the engine, im pretty happy with it.

Another happy rcolter with the airbox :) good to see! They are a great product, love mine. All the YR stuff i have got has been great. Japanese instructions arent so helpful, however at least the pictures are clear. I dont mind tinkering anyway so its not like im in a rush.

With how good everything else they have put together has been, im waiting to see them come out with an intercooler. Ill be interested to see what they can offer. Its like they really seem to think about everything. Like you mentioned, they even included a little clip for the side to hold the MAF cable.

hmm not sure if they are going to do one since they put a oil cooler on the side, making a FMIC would be difficult... but only time will tell
