went to a wedding the other day (brother in law) - they had 4 Rotors all looking schmick! Seen a few weddings in the parklands with commodore's. I wouldve thought in the age of metrosexualism - a bit of smart japanese sophistication would be marketable. I mean come on - commodores and WRX's ??!?

Let me do more research..... $$$

I want to do a drive through Elvis wedding in Vegas for $25!:p Colts for a wedding would be cool - something different other than the usual limos and classic cars.:)

lol crank up the subaru sherpa wedding business. Be able to get a driver and possibly one wedding member and a small child in the hatch. Would be great. 2 cylinders of fury

vl walkinshaw for me... i cant wait... rcolt hasnt exactly earned classic status just yet.. and whats wrong woth commodores at weddings dude??
most people grew up with commodores and such and its a nice way to include a bit of tradition to your wedding for some people.. how many guys lost their virginity in the back seat of a commodore... :)

your 100% right tmr.. i love colts but not really an ideal wedding car.. i have already picked the 3 walkys i am having at my wedding.... if my future wife leaves me or whatever i will just marry a walky :D

walkinshaws are plastic pigs imo
i dunno, prolly comes from seeing a mate who bought one and all the trouble he had with it. it was in the garage in pieces more often than not. and when it was actually running it wasnt that fast.

new HSVs are a classier car... W427

its not all about speed mate.. they arent that quick but for their time 20 yrs ago the where.. i can beat a 1975 ferrari in my colt but does that mean the ferrari is crap. the walkinshaw are classics.. and if your try to buy an original now your looking at $80000..everyone has the right to their own opinion but...

the walkys where 180kw in a 1200kg car.. in power to weight terms thats quicker than an evo.. so for a car made 20yrs ago that not too bad..

these are photos you'll have for the rest of your life and the idea is not to detract from the bride, it's all about her on the day remember! the photos should be on the subject, rather than which brand 215's you've got on your rims or how many gauges are on your dash!!

yuck

LOL

True, but - My weekend business venture isnt about us posing our cars off at various weddings around Adelaide. Customers choose us the same way they choose a phat Bently convoy, or some Hot Rods, or Mustangs. Its whatever suits the wedding party (customer) :) If they want RColts with some sticky 215's, and 5 dash mount gauges with warning lights on each, then I will provide :) - If the price is right of course.:D

What's wrong with the old horse drawn carriage... You could make a joke out of it and somehow rig a colt to pull a carriage :P

Yes... its crap. Doesnt mean its not a classic... but that doesnt stop it from being crap hahaha.

On the note of wedding cars, i dont really think the colt is exactly ideal. You need something big and smooth. If your not the one driving you dont get to enjoy the sharp handling anywhere near as much so you may as well be as comfortable as possible instead.
