Well the other day I had a minor crash (someone cut me off) and I now have a nice ruined front bar, guard, headlight etc etc. I won't have a car for a while because the insurance of the other guy won't admit fault yet so I've taken all the aftermarket parts off my car and I'm selling one of them.

It is a Turbosmart EVO 6 - 8 Dual Port Blow-Off Valve, Part Number: FG-BOV-EVODP. I have had it running on my Colt and it is in brand new condition. Has probably done 1500km all up.

I rang Autobarn because I wanted to find out what he thought I should sell it for. He said it retails for just under $500 new and said I should sell it for $400 because it is so new. So if your after a BOV and you don't want to pay the price of a brand new one, this is perfect. It looks like new, it runs like new, all you'll need to do is re-lubricate the piston inside (as shown on the instructions) because when I took it off I cleaned it all and this took some of the lubrication off.

It will come in the box with the instructions that came in the box. Along with Vacuum line and clips that are the perfect length to fit the BOV (This was seperate, you don't get this in the box with a new one - Extra Vacuum line comes in a pack worth $25).

Remove standard BOV and chuck the new one on. 5 minutes to do MAXIMUM. If you live on the Gold Coast / Brisbane I can probably deliver it to you and / or install it for you. Anywhere else and I will ship it at your expense. I don't think it would cost too much, it doesn't weigh much. I can find out for anyone interested.

their website is www.turbosmart.com.au if you'd like to look for yourselves.

PM me or leave a message in here if your interested, looking for a quick sale because I fear I will have to put some money towards this insurance job :(

True, it may not be that old, but like all things man, its what you will find some1 else will pay for it and not its actual worth. I'll throw my hand up for 350 posted, im in syd. If its too low keep hold of it, but if you need the cash, the offer is there for you. If you can throw up a close pic of it on your car as well that might help things along.
Cheers
Steve

I'm pretty firm on $400 plus postage. Yes it is what others will pay, but $400 is still a lot cheaper than a new one. I was told it was still worth $400 and I think it's pretty reasonable.

I have two pics of it that I took yesterday before it came off the car... Here they are:

Sorry if the pics are big, they are quite large in size :P
