I asked Mitz today if your could use Mobil E10 blend of fuel in our Rcolts I will notify members of this and the Ralliart Forum of there response.
It is said that this fuel is a 10% Ethanol (Alcohol) to 90% petroleum is equivalant to 98 Octane.
Has anyone used Mobil E10 in their Rcolt

I believe its fine for our rcolt. Most modern car nowadays can take E10 fuels. Did run the 5% 100 octane Shell V-Power Racing before with no issues.

I received an answer from a Mitz (Ralliart) Dealer today he stated:
" I asked The NSW Ralliart Manager if we can use 10% Ethanol Blended fuel in the Ralliart Colts/"
After a pause the answer was
" We don't Recommend the use of this fuel in the Ralliart Colt."
This is most likly because they have not tested this type of fuel in our Rcolts
This is rather puzzaling as since 1996 most Mitz vehicles overseas are able to run on Ethanol blends of up to 15%.

It wouldn't be recommended because they haven't tested it AND after prolonged use it can start to eat through your fuel lines.
I have used the 100RON Shell V-Power Racing with no dramas at all - just don't suggest you use it regularly. I have also used Dyno Tabs in my fuel.

i wouldn't use ethnol fuels in the ralliart colts, this is because it can cause knocking and pinging. Also as its only new to australia the quality of this fuel isn't very well known.
if your keen on getting more octane outa your gas use octane booster! don't try the ethanol fuels it will stuff you over in the long term and isn't good for the engines!
