Hey guys..

I've just sold my car and am now looking for a suitable RColt.

Preferably after a White or Silver one, and it MUST be the model that came with the Recaros.

Looking for something with low-ish kms.

If anyone knows of anything could you please let me know.

gday mate, welcome to the forum.try carsales,thats where i found mine. when i was looking early may i came across a silver one in tasmania 2006 with 11000 ks on the odo at a dealer in burnie for $16300 cash but i missed out because i spent a little bit of time finding out how to get it back to sydney,a bargain.it didnt matter in the end as i found a good one in melbourne, flew down and drove it back, well worth the effort!!!!!!

there was a white one on carsales for $18,000 with 17,000kms on it in brisbane.

I was watching it on there for a few weeks, but had to sell my VZ SS commodore before I could do anything. Sold the commodore today, the white colt in brisbane sold yesterday.

Dammit!

There is none for sale anywhere here in tassy at the moment and the local mitsu dealer didnt seem too enthusiastic about finding me one because the last one they bought sat for ages before it sold.

Will travel for the right one anywhere around australia.. that isnt a problem at all.

Will also consider the Gunmetal Grey ones..

Definatley wont have another black car and don't like the red either.

been in a crash, 12k worth of repairs done to it & mitsi have checked it out.. they're happy with it.

new clutch in at 30,000kms due to that groaning noise in the thrust bearing

front undergaurds are damaged from dodgey installation from insurance repair company.

probably overpriced, probaby too many k's for what you want but none-the-less... try finding a blue one :)

sorry TMR Colt.. I did look at yours but i just dont think i could buy a car knowing it has been damaged to that extent. Just something I would rather not do.

I know they fix cars good as new these days.. but i've seen some pretty bad jobs in my time working at caryards and would just prefer to avoid going down that path if possible.

The blue does look cool though, but I just sold a Blue VZ SS, so time for a different colour.

butterscotch was the WORST possible name they could have given the colour... most people say that have seen the colour in real life say it is their second favourite colour... it just doesn't photograph well!!

off topic, but i've driven a butterscotch one and had one at my place for a couple of days in late 07.. it's a bloody nice colour. it's like a yellow with a white pearl through it (similar to mazda's pearl yellow on 3's and 6's)

Bought a brand newbie yesterday guys. Picked up the last Silver one in pool-stock in Australia my dealer reckons.

Missed out on the last white one by only 3 days, but oh well.

Can't wait to take delivery of it in 3-4weeks once it arrives in Tassy from Qld. :D

Yeah.. the 50% investment allowance (i own a small busniess) and the fact I can instantly claim back 10% GST far outweighed the recaros unfortunatley..

Worked out overall to be cheaper than most second hand ones I was looking at and I get a brand new car with full warranties :)
